Located in the inlet that separates the shopping plaza from the beach island is a series of enclosures that is the home of th resort's Dolphin Encounter. Guests stand by the side of the enclosures while the staff talk introduces these creatures. After that, guests can get into the waist-deep water with the dolphins.

Mahogany Bay has a long zip line, which takes guests over the jungle and across the inlet that separates the beach island from the rest of the resort. The zip line starting point is near the parking lot where the shore excursion buses park.

The resort also offers a variety of watercraft including kayaks, paddleboats, and water bikes.

At the far end of Mahogany Beach is a pier that juts out a considerable distance into the bay. This facility is often used by snorkelers who want to get away from the more populated shoreline.
