The water surrounding the Princess Cays resort is too shallow for cruise ships to dock so guests arrive at the resort via tenders from their cruise ship.  The boat ride is not long.

Tenders going to Princess Cays
There is a small cove in the middle of the resort area where piers have been constructed.  It is called "Love Boat Marina."  The tenders go past a breakwater into the cove and tie up on the north side of the marina.  Guests disembark here.  When they want to return to the ship, they come back to the same place.

Right:  To get to the southern section, you must  cross a bridge.  There is usually a photographer there who will offer to take your picture with your ship in the background.
The Love Boat Marina divides the resort in two.  Thus, when you disembark the tender, you have a choice to proceed through the main entrance to the northern part of the resort or to go back around the marina to the southern part.  Both sections have similar features - - beaches, dining facilities, bars, shops and sports equipment.  However, the northern section is larger has some additional features including bungalows and the Sanctuary area.
