Cruise ships calling in Copenhagen berth at two different locations.
Most ships dock at the Langelinie Pier, which is within walking distance of several of Copenhagen's main attractions. It is also a pleasant walk with shade trees and views of the harbor. There is no terminal building. Rather, the ships tie up parallel to the street and extend a gangway from one of the shell doors onto the street. More than one ship can and frequently dock here. Larger ships embarking passengers in Copenhagen often berth at the Freeport Terminal. This terminal is in a more commercial part of the seaport and is further from the center of town. It is not within walking distance of the City's attractions. |
